About Hospice of Montgomery
Hospice of Montgomery provides professional and compassionate palliative care that empowers families to have an active role in caring for their loved ones and improving their quality of life. Hospice of Montgomery, established in 1976, was the first organization of its kind in Alabama and remains the only community-based, independent, not-for-profit hospice serving the River Region. Hospice of Montgomery is the only hospice funded by the local United Way.
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for terminally ill patients. Utilizing a team of healthcare professionals, our mission is to provide quality non-curative medical and support services within the home setting to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the patient and family during the final stages of illness, dying, death and bereavement.
The board, staff and volunteers of Hospice of Montgomery believe that by working together, we can change the way people live and die in our community.
When a loved one is approaching the end of life, we are ready to help. We represent the 'personal touch' in palliative care, and strive to be the best at what we do.
